At Dashingplayer, we adhere to the Singapore Copyright Act 2023 and respect all applicable copyright laws safeguarding the intellectual property rights of others. This policy pertains to our website, www.Dashingplayer.com, and the Dashingplayer mobile application. To address infringement claims related to copyrighted material owned or controlled by third parties, we have designated copyright@dashingplayer for receiving takedown notices.

Please note that the designated email is solely for takedown notifications under the Act and not for general inquiries. Notifications concerning other intellectual property issues, such as trademarks, can also be directed to this email. Any notifications sent to a different email address may experience delays or be disregarded.

Copyright Infringement

Our platform rules strictly prohibit the upload of any content that infringes upon the copyrights of others. Users are responsible for ensuring they possess the necessary permissions or ownership of the content they upload. Unauthorized use of copyrighted material may violate our platform rules.

This Copyright Policy does not constitute legal advice and should not be construed as a substitute for it. If you are uncertain whether third-party content you intend to upload to our platforms is protected by copyright, it is advisable to seek independent legal advice.

Takedown Procedure

If you believe your materials’ copyright has been infringed, you must submit a takedown notice (in the form prescribed by the Copyright Act) to Dashingplayer’s designated email. Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, Dashingplayer will promptly take appropriate measures to remove or disable access to the material in compliance with the Copyright Act.

Restoration Procedure

Once the material has been removed or access disabled, Dashingplayer will make efforts to notify the individual who posted the material (the “Respondent”). The Respondent may, within the specified period and following the Copyright Act guidelines, submit a valid counter-notice (using the prescribed form) to Dashingplayer’s designated email to request the restoration of the material. Dashingplayer will then endeavor to restore the material if technically feasible unless the copyright owner initiates legal proceedings to prevent restoration and notifies Dashingplayer accordingly.
